Tickets

Tickets purchased for the NAFAS National Show 2027 – "Wide Horizons", to be held on 9–10 July 2027 at the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincolnshire, are sold on a non-refundable basis. Except as expressly provided in this clause, no refunds, exchanges, transfers, credits or cancellations will be permitted following purchase.

In the event that a ticket holder is unable to attend the event for any reason, including but not limited to illness, travel disruption, adverse weather conditions, personal circumstances, or any event beyond their reasonable control, no refund shall be payable.

If the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies ("NAFAS") cancels the event in its entirety and does not reschedule it, ticket holders shall be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket purchased. Any such refund shall exclude booking fees, transaction charges, accommodation costs, travel expenses, consequential losses or any other costs incurred by the ticket holder unless required otherwise by applicable law.

NAFAS shall not be liable for any failure to perform, delay, interruption, alteration, postponement, curtailment or cancellation of the event arising from a force majeure event or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Force Majeure Event means any circumstance not within a party's reasonable control including:

(a) acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster;
(b) epidemic or pandemic;
(c) terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations;
(d) nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or sonic boom;
(e) any law or action taken by a government or public authority, including imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary licence or consent;
(f) collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; and
(g)any labour or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts (other than by the staff of the party seeking to rely on this clause or those of its subcontractors or Affiliates);
(h) non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors (other than by Affiliates of the party seeking to rely on this clause); and
(i) interruption or failure of utility service. including but not limited to acts of God.

NAFAS shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this agreement for so long as, and to the extent that, its performance is prevented, hindered or delayed by a Force Majeure Event.

Where a force majeure event necessitates the cancellation of the event by NAFAS, NAFAS's sole liability shall be limited to the refund of the face value of tickets purchased, unless otherwise required by law. No further compensation, damages, costs or expenses shall be payable.

Nothing in this clause shall exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
